Canon History: Kyouya is the third son of an incredibly rich family. His father is the head of the Ootori Group, a corporation that owns and manages pretty well all of the hospitals in Japan, among other things. Being the third son, unfortunately for him, his father is very critical of him. His older brothers have already demonstrated their inherited genius, excelling in school, and this is now considered only a minimum requirement for him. His father has stated that his brothers have done that - for him to receive his father's approval (not to mention any part of the business), he has to do something more.
In high school, he focussed on extracurricular activities, turning his friend Tamaki Suou's Host Club from a silly hobby into a successful money-making enterprise.
AU Backstory: Kyouya's backstory is exactly the same in the game as in canon. In high school, he was vice president of the Host Club, and hijinks ensued. Now he has moved on to University, and has chosen to go abroad for his studies, in further search of ways to impress his father and become more than just 'the youngest son', while his brothers take over the business to accompanying fame and fortune.
Physical Appearance: Kyouya has black hair and eyes, and wears thin-framed glasses which he requires to see properly. He is 5'11" tall and has a lanky build, more of an academic than one who pursues physical activity, though he keeps himself in shape in order to keep up his appearance. He has a cool, calm demeanor, though around those he wants to impress he has an easy and genuine smile. Most who see him have to acknowledge that he's good looking, and his personality only enhances his natural attraction to the opposite (and sometimes same!) sex. Though he doesn't seem to pursue romance, wherever he goes he seems to leave girls sighing after him in his wake.

I am a double major, Business and Pre-Med. I'm looking for clubs to join that might need my talents. If I don't find anything, and can find the right partner, I may start one of my own.
